We are incredibly grateful for all of the volunteering support we receive at Langley Abbey Environment Project. In 2025 alone, volunteers helped us plant over 25,000 trees! Events are organised periodically and are open to all, with a strong attendance from organisations in the planning and development sectors that we support with BNG. Each day invariably ends with a well-earned drink out in the field.

Working in partnership with Norfolk Wildlife Trust (NWT), September 2025 saw the inaugural seed broadcasting day at Langley Abbey, with volunteers helping sow over 20 hectares of wildflower meadows with seed hand-collected from NWT’s local nature reserves and donor sites. Following such a successful day, LAEP is pleased to confirm that the event will be repeated in 2026. Further details will be announced in due course. Meanwhile, more information on NWT’s meadow restoration work can be found here.

In addition to our open events, we also organise bespoke volunteering days for businesses looking to make meaningful contributions to local nature recovery whilst fostering team cohesion and employee wellbeing.
